It's Business Time

"I told them, basically, we're not going to beat any of those teams if we play like we played the last two or three games," Coach Phil Jackson said.

Word, Phil. This is the last, best chance to prove what this team is all about: 4 games on the road against NO, Houston, Dallas, and Utah. The way the Lakers are playing defense right now, 2-2 would be a godsend.

It's business...it's business time....

Bynum's on the treadmill and the Lakes are on the road. I know we've been coasting a bit against some of these lower tier teams, but if Kobe brings that intensity we know he has (see SAC at Arco) then I'm sure we'll be fine. Keep in mind after this trip we're pretty much coasting into the home stretch while teams like SAC and HOU have to actually play their way into the playoffs.

I'm ready for the first round if it's LAL vs GSW. I'm already designing the Lakers fan's t-shirts..."We Skeptical"

not worth a post...but hilarious as a clip. this proves the suns have improved, they've learned to move better. Still, I can't believe none of them flopped.

that's it. We can beat Utah in a series. I still give the spurs their respect, but I can't believe anyone wants to see the lakes at this point. If we even get remotely healthy we have a real shot imposing our will on any competition. Let's not even talk about next year...or the next 4! Not only was this a great 2-2 road trip, It was a message that we're deep, we're legit, and we're hungry. And there isn't a team that wants to see us. L4L
